Trip Overview

• Start Point: Jammu (Train/Flight).
• End Point: Srinagar (Flight) or Jammu (Train).
• Ideal Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days.

Day 1 & 2: Jammu to Katra & Darshan

Arrive at Jammu Tawi Railway Station or Airport and drive to Katra (45km). Obtain your Yatra Slip (RFID) and start the trek to Bhawan (12km). After Darshan and returning, rest at your hotel in Katra.

Day 3: Katra to Patnitop (80km)

Drive towards Kashmir but stop at Patnitop . It is a famous hill station on the highway. Visit Nathatop and Sanasar Lake. Enjoy the cooler climate compared to Katra.

Day 4 & 5: Entering Kashmir (Pahalgam)

Drive from Patnitop to Pahalgam (via Jawahar Tunnel). This 5-6 hour drive is incredibly scenic. Spend 2 nights in Pahalgam visiting Betaab Valley and Aru Valley.

Day 6 & 7: Gulmarg & Srinagar

Move to Srinagar. Take a day trip to Gulmarg for the Gondola ride. Spend the last evening on a Shikara ride in Dal Lake.

Departure: You can fly out from Srinagar Airport (closest) or drive back to Jammu (7-8 hours) if you have a return train.
